Naomi Campbell Charged With Assault

Naomi Campbell has been charged with assault, following a spat with police on board a British Airways plane at London’s Heathrow airport.

The catwalk diva was arrested at terminal five last month over a dispute with her luggage, which was lost in the airport's recent baggage handling fiasco.

On Thursday, Campbell was charged with assaulting a police officer, her lawyer Simon Nicholls has confirmed.

The 38-year-old was bailed to re-appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court, west London on 20 June.

It is not the first time Campbell has found herself in trouble with the law over her fiery temper. Last year she was sentenced to community service at New York's sanitation department after she was convicted of assaulting her maid with her Blackberry cellphone.
